Pole fitness has changed my life. The strength it builds reaches far beyond the physical body. Once I experienced the power of pole for myself I couldn't wait to share it with others. Every woman deserves to feel empowered and truly confident in their own bodies and minds. Growing up dance was an aspect of every sport I participated in and it was always my favorite part! I am a mother to four busy, intelligent little beings so in my adult life dance was sorely missed. Pole brought the time and space for dance back and with more self expression than I could have ever anticipated.
When not at the studio or watching endless pole videos I love spending time with my friends and family! Movie nights (self proclaimed movie buff), watching my kiddos excel in their own sports, and any/all of our crazy adventures. For years I have supported women into motherhood, being a doula and birth assistant. Pole now allows me to support women in a whole additional avenue. Pole fitness will hold a permanent space in my life with endless progress to be made both personally and while spreading it to the masses! ~Danielle Liquid Motion 1.0 & 2.0 Certified Liquid Pole Certified ElevatED spotting trained - ElevatED Pole Certified |
Danielle from day one was someone who I knew I would be able to grow with and be able to learn well from. She is a very talented dancer as well as a wonderful, strong woman that I am able to relate to on a personal level. For me that was ideal when I was learning to dance. She never judged me or made me feel like I’ve failed even when I didn’t get the move or new pose on point. She encouraged you to continue until you felt you had the move down to the best of your capability, then when you reached that she made sure she pushed you a little further. She is a very hands on teacher and I trusted her to help me and then also trusted her to let me explore my own style. As I danced with Danielle I was able to learn that everyone’s dancing style is unique and she taught each one of the students to embrace that. She encouraged us to create our own dance style while learning the basics as well as more advanced moves. When it took sometimes multiple classes to get one move down she never made you feel like she was tired of teaching it, she encouraged us to continue until we felt comfortable with that particular move. Her words have still stuck with me today “Everyone has the one move that is easier to them than anyone else and everyone has the one that they are stuck on, even me.” This made me feel that she was a very relatable person in the dancing as everyone struggles even when someone else may not. She is a very motivated and driven individual that also works very well in a team aspect to work with all the students at one time. I personally was one of sometimes up to 8 people that she would teach at one time and she still made me feel just as important as anyone else and helped me when I needed the assistance. Danielle is a very strong, amazing talented woman that I will look up to for a long time. ~Breanna Wickberg

In 2011 I was a mother of a two year old son and I was ready to do something for me! I learned about a trial pole class and knew it would be right up my alley. I had been hoping to find an alternative to the gym. My very first class I was in love. With no dance background I was drawn to the freedom of the movement, the way it quieted my mind, and the expression of emotions. So began my love of freestyle pole. A year later I was given the opportunity to share this confidence boosting class as an instructor. I love seeing each of my students come in maybe a little bit nervous but then leaving with a huge smile on their face and counting down the days until their next class.
Pole has given me so much as a student and as an instructor: confidence, girl time, fun, freedom, and a workout! But, be warned! I am a bit of a goofball! In my class expect excited encouraging words and booty shakes as you master your spins! I have two wonderful and energetic kids at home along with my fun loving husband. I enjoy riding my sport bike (on sunny days), thrifting, 80's music, a good hair toss & playing with my kiddos. Can't wait to see you in class! ~Ang |
To see my free dance teacher, Ang dance for the first time was breathtakingly beautiful. I still remember the song.
I thought instantly I wish it was choreography I could learn. She informed me, this is free dance. There are no rules, no plans, just dance from the heart. I knew instantly I wanted to do this, but had no idea how to. I did however know I felt very uncomfortable at first. It did not come naturally to move freely. I was so uncomfortable with free dance, in fact, I asked her to change the name of the class to a sensuality work shop. The very first class Ang made me feel at ease, turning the lights down, and expecting nothing. We laughed, acted silly and discussed what holds us back. She reminded me practice makes progress. She slowly eased me into loving myself and whatever I accomplished was a victory. I love free dance now. I now can't wait to explore and express myself through dance. With the freedom of "no rules" you are truly allowed to shine. My instructor is not aware of how much she means to me, but I love her for the gift of expression she has taught me. ~Annette Krakowski
